Well it's the start of another week! Been a little soggy around here lately... I have mushrooms growing in my grass! That's never happened here in Kamloops for me before!! Only thing good about all this indoor "weather" is that there is lots of time for crafting and organizing! :) I'm waiting for shipping notices on a whole bunch more new inventory, including some great camping ones, so watch for the announcement that it's arrived! What a great Wednesday morning!! My husband surprised us last night by showing up at home after a long work stint away! I am still grinning!! Class this morning with some wonderful ladies then finishing inventorying the new stock & finding room for it all! Hurray for Friday! Boy, we sure can be thankful for this amazing stretch of summer weather! So many people doing outside things, but don't forget in your spare time, do keep up on the inside things! Today is hockey memorabilia organization for me in between customers! Thankfully, I have all those tables in the back to help me put it all in order... right now, it's just sorted by season, so I have a lot of work ahead of me before I begin to think about scrapbooking his Blazer career! My apologies... I forgot to paste this on the blog from FB this morning! Opps! :/ Good Thursday morning peeps! Another amazing morning in Kamloops... sure can't complain about the summer weather this week! I was sad to hear from a friend in Red Deer yesterday that their last scrapbook store is closing it's doors. I really feel that the big box stores unfairly compete with your local SB store & drive the little guy out of the industry to the point where you're stuck with only what's available at the big box stores, with no fun, personalized service from the people who know & love the industry. So whether it's here or another LSS, (local scrapbook store), please remember to shop the little guy first. People complain all the time that they don't have a shop in their area, then when they do, they don't do enough to support it. Ok, off my soap box again! Sorry! Store hours today are 9:30 - 5pm.
