Good Thursday morning to you!! Another beautiful day in store for us here in Kamloops... Fingers crossed the other shipment arrives -- it's chalk full of all the new Kaiser Craft & Echo Park lines so I'm sure you're as excited as I am to get it here!! I'll post when product is here & uploaded... Still some time to get signed up for the classes this month and space is filling up in the National Scrapbooking Weekend crop on May 1 & 2nd... be sure to get your name on the list ASAP so you're not disappointed! Three weeks from today, the next shipment to Nunavut will be going out - we have $150 donated already to help cover shipping costs. We aren't in need of any food donations at this time, but would gladly accept any monetary donations to help get these boxes up to our sponsored family in Kugaaruk! Every little bit helps & the smiles on the faces of our sponsored family makes it so worth it!! I am here today from 10am until 4pm and look forward to seeing you! :D Cheers peeps!

Isn't this first SRTC Challenge exciting? Karen's products are just getting better & better! I combined a wood piece and a chipboard piece for this first challenge and made an elegant Baby Girl card.
I first used the new Tim Holtz Spun Sugar paint dauber and applied two coats to the chipboard frame, FRA-486. When the second coat was almost dry, I drenched it in light pink glitter. I tapped off the excess glitter then used a spray sealer to keep the glitter on the frame where it belongs!
I used a sponge dauber to apply brown ink to the edges of the Sugar & Spice sign Wood-502 and then mounted it to the glittered frame.
Once the base of the card was assembled, including some cute brown & pink ribbon, I added some flowers & touched the corners of the sign with teeny pink gems.
I just LOVE how it turned out and that the pieces are so versatile! It's just so easy to make these chipboard pieces be whatever you want them to be!
Thanks for looking! :)

Happy Thursday peeps! What a gorgeous day out there - tons of golfers on the course & people in my neighbourhood were packing up the holiday trailers for camping this weekend!! Still moving product around to fit it all & make room for more new product that should be here next week. All the new lines are moving fast - so make sure you get in & get what you want - it's getting harder & harder to reorder with suppliers with this limited release concept now widely accepted in the industry. I got a call from the lab yesterday that I need to go in for some follow up blood work & a couple things today at 2:25 so I will have to close up at 2 to make sure I'm there on time. Don't forget I'm closed for the Easter long weekend as I get to head over to the Island tomorrow to FINALLY meet my great nephew & visit with my sister & family! :D I hope you all have a wonderful Easter with your family - take lots of pictures! I'm open today from 10am until 2pm - See you soon! Cheers! :)
